14,420 sf new construction that reimagines a beloved 1948 towing and repair shop.

After experiencing tremendous growth over the past decade, Topel’s Towing and Repair needed a new location for their growing staff and service offerings. The new 14,420 SF automotive repair shop includes ten service bays, a waiting room with a fireplace, comfy seating, a beverage bar, and charging ports. Along with a conference room, break room and clean room, historical elements of the original 1948 Topel’s location were included in the interior design. Historical elements include a vintage gas pump, white block main entry, polished concrete floors, and the beloved orange “76” sign outside the shop.

The new facility also features a unique in-floor heating system that burns waste oil. Furthermore, a six-foot-tall wainscot was designed to prevent damage from toolboxes and equipment. Topel’s services all vehicles with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems which include features like adaptive cruise control and lane departure warnings, requiring a level floor space for accurate servicing.
