This 5,000 SF interior buildout aimed to step away from stereotypical notions of what an Indian restaurant should look like while creating a dynamic, adaptable space that would serve as both an event space, bar, and restaurant. Deviating from a traditionally warm color palette, this project featured a cooler palette with biophilic elements to maintain a feeling of warmth and liveliness in the space. Special attention was placed on guiding design features that would encourage guests to get out of their seats and explore the rest of the space.
All of the main components of the space were designed to be open concept spaces. The dining area, bar area, buffet and event space are aligned in a singular row. This maximizes the space by allowing for all 3 spaces to act as 1 open concept space tailored to host a large gathering. For example, the glass folding wall with drapery allows for both the expansion and reduction of event space.
