Taco Local is a small renovation of an existing building on Williamson Street. It was designed to operate similarly to a food truck, but with a dining room and bar. We maximized the existing space by designing a smaller kitchen to allow more space for dining. Natural elements of the existing building were kept and used as the backdrop for this modernized and eclectic space.

It features sealed concrete floors throughout and existing limestone walls which were warmed up by incorporating wood tones, greenery, and the thoughtful use of both ambient and accent lighting to highlight the space. Other elements include the use of clean lines, custom metal work, unique patterned tile and colorful mural art. From concept to completion, this space came together by using beautiful salvaged elements in the existing space, yet complimenting the original beauty by taking the owners unique vision and bringing it to life.
