Available Opportunities
Plumbing Designer
Angus-Young is a 2023 & 2024 Madison Area Top Workplaces award winner. We are a general practice, AEI firm, who strives to deliver excellence, empower our employees, and build lasting relationships.
We are currently looking to add a Plumbing Designer to our growing team. The role is focused on designing plumbing systems for various building types, from concept to completion.
This includes: converting system design concepts into specific layouts by utilizing information outlined from our clients while providing our expertise. The candidate will be required to perform necessary calculations to size piping, and system components for a fully integrated plumbing design. A fundamental knowledge of plumbing codes, and plumbing / piping systems is required.
The ideal candidate will also have experience developing drawings. The other skillset we are looking for is someone who can read blueprints and perform code reviews. Preferred software includes; Microstation and Revit.

Mechanical Designer

We are currently looking to add a Mechanical HVAC Designer to our growing team. The role is focused on designing building mechanical HVAC systems, coordination, and delivering our clients efficient buildings that meet their present and future needs.
This includes: the ability to communicate effectively, manage schedules, coordinate with the engineering and architectural departments for a cohesive drawing package, and assist with construction administration including working with contractors, site visits, and observations reports.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.
